August 19-21, 2024 – OBIAA’s Executive Director will be attending the Association of Municipalities of Ontario’s (AMO) Conference with Deputations with Ministers.
Kay Matthews will be presenting to the following Ministries:
- The Ministry of Red Tape Reduction – Minister Mike Harris
- The Ministry of Economic Development, Job Creation & Trade – Associate Minister Nina Tangri, Associate Ministry of Small Business
- Opposition Leaders and Caucus of the Green Party and NDP
While additionally attending a reception of the Liberal Party Caucus.
OBIAA will be presenting our findings and recommendations on changes required and sought for the Ontario Municipal Act and recommendations to assist Main Streets and their member businesses.
