In 2017, a committee was invited by the Minister to begin a review of the Information and Communications Standards under the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act.
This committee’s Initial Recommendation Report has just been posted online for public comment. The Report will be posted online for a period of 45 business days and will close on September 27, 2019.
As these recommendations may lead to potential changes to the requirements for your organization, the Ministry encourages you to participate in this process. They would also encourage you to share this information broadly with your networks.
All feedback received will be considered by the committee before finalizing their recommendations to the Minister.
