Webinar – Best Practices for Accessible Tourism
June 23, 2015 @ 11:00 am - 11:45 am
FreeAccessibility means giving people of all abilities opportunities to participate fully in everyday life and this includes visitors to your community.
Currently 1 in 7 people or 1.85 million Ontarians have a disability. By 2036, as the population ages,1 in 5 Ontarians will have a disability.
People with disabilities will represent 40% or $536 billion of the total income in Ontario. Customers with disabilities are a growing market that no business can afford to overlook.
Improved accessibility in Ontario can generate up to $9.6 Billion in new retail spending and $1.6 Billion in new tourism spending. A more accessible Ontario is good for our economy and our communities.
To learn more about how to make your community more accessible to visitors, join us for this free 45-minute webinar.
