The Ontario Business Improvement Area Association (OBIAA) is a network representing and supporting BIAs across Ontario. We encourage and guide BIAs to increase their effectiveness, as well as their contribution to the economic, cultural, and social well-being of communities.

Return on Investment of BIAs

The Return ON Investment of BIAs Study will identify the common success factors needed by BIAs, industry and government to assess the contribution of BIAs to their communities.

Accessibility

The Accessibility Smart Businesses Project aims to identify and remove barriers to employment for persons with disabilities in communities across Ontario.

Goverment Relations

OBIAA meets annually with the Planning, Environment, Resources and Land (PERL) Provincial Deputy Ministries and Assistant Deputy Ministers encouraging understanding and recognition of the paradigms facing ‘Main Street’ Ontario.
